hello all! I am an organic farmer and mother with 10 years of experience working on farms of all kinds in 7 countries,  sites that are urban and rural, big and small.  I am currently looking for a farm that is in need of field workers  through late autumn or through the winter and that is welcoming and openminded to me bringing my 2 1/2 year old daughter, a fledgling farmer, with me on-site. I am currently living in Peru, South America, where my partner and I have been building a small homestead in the Amazon region for more than 3 years. We integrate our knowledge of permaculture, organic growing, and traditional peruvian agriculture here at Peru and have developed a beautiful site, however for a variety of reasons, it is necessary that I to return to the USA with the hopes that my partner will be able to join me later in the winter. About me: I am 28, very strong and very healthy, a dedicated, efficient, and responsible worker that is accustomed to long hours and the whims of weather. I am very experienced and confident in all aspects of field work, greenhouse production, farmer's market sales and CSAs. My daughter is sweet and a good little worker too, she loves to be outdoors, knows how to weed :-) and is a great presence to be around. We have plenty of experience in communal living situations and strong references! We are looking for a farm preferably in the NorthEast, as I am based in New York, or anywhere along the east coast.
