We are a private nature SPIRIT sanxuary, founded in 1984 and guided since then by the couple that "owns" the land and the land  spirit itself. We are a permaculture homestead, focusing on sustainability, off grid and alternative energy, permaculture practices involving OG gardening and forest land management, and rural community living. We are not primarily focused on garden and food production, which is essential, but also offer apprenticeships in a unique blend of permaculture, personal and spiritual development, and healing arts. We harvest and wyldcraft herbs, make tinctures and flower and vibrational essences, have numerous eco-building opportunities including straw bale and cob, etc, and our harvest is in the depth with which our apprentices realize their wholistic life potential here and after leaving. Our focus is educational and we lead or participate in gatherings year round, usually in seemingly unrelated areas such as Group Song Circles, Astrology, Magickal and Intuitive Healing Arts, Yoga, and so on. We are not a CSA-type Organic farm, more of an applied learning center for growthwork and living fully and sustainably in the 21st century. We are seeking volunteers for 3 days to six months who work at least 25 hours per week, who  want to work diligently  and are self motivated and can work sometimes without supervision, and are interested in growing the fruits of their souls into greater beauty and understanding. In exchange, we offer an education, participation in all our events and gatherings, 3 decades of applied rural homesteading wisdom, a place to stay, (and meals for a short time). Longer term apprentices are expected to contribute to the livelihood of the sanxuary and cover their own economic needs and desires. We have weekly sharing circles after which we discuss our farming and homesteading goals.
