Our farm is located 28 kilometers from The Arenal Volcano in La Fortuna, Costa Rica.  We have been working for 10 years on our project and would love other ideas and people with different experiences.  We have vegetables and animals and have many projects in the works.  Working on methane gas project for cooking, tilapia pond, worms, compost, etc, etc.  Our goal is to be completely self sufficient.  We welcome volunteers, up to 3 at one time.  They are expected to work on different projects that suit their interests.  We will provide their housing, and 3 meals a day for 5 days of work a week and 6 hours a day.  We have a fee of 10$ a day and the program runs for a minimum of 30 days to a max of 60 days.  Help planning weekend excursions available, all travel expenses paid by volunteer.    In exchange for our volunteers help we offer cooking classes in varied international cuisine and local excursions, hikes, horseback riding, and often weekend homestays if interested.
