Montanye Ranch is an ideal site for a wide range of agricultural ventures. With just under 800 acres of diverse topography, soil types, microclimates, and varied weather exposure, there is no limit to this property’s potential. Montanye Ranch is currently accepting well organized proposals from individuals and firms that can envision productive agricultural projects in the space we have available. Opportunities range from creative joint-ventures to conventional property leases. We are considering partners who can successfully take advantage of the property’s assets while maintaining our long term goals of preservation and stewardship. The property is located just east of Tonasket, Washington.

Site description:
Three quarters of Montanye Ranch is mountainous and forested. The remaining land is flat and workable with excellent sun exposure and a close year-round water sources. We own high-use water rights from both wells and creeks. There are trout streams, beaver dams, natural ponds, and numerous springs on the ranch, with diverse flora and fauna throughout property. The valley floor has been primarily hay fields and grazing land for several years, and we would like to begin building soils for more diverse production in the future.
The property includes a four bedroom home on the county road with several small sheds for storage. Use of this space can be included in a proposal or not. An original homestead barn still stands in a field on the valley floor; the barn needs improvements to be fully operable, but does provide some dry storage for equipment or materials. Gravel roads provide access to almost all points on the property, and the entire perimeter is fenced.
We envision a long list of improvements and infrastructure development for the future, and are prioritizing these installations based on proposals received in the next sixty days. If you are experienced in production agriculture, and looking for space to implement your operation, submit a detailed proposal to Justin@MontanyeRanch.com.
