yonderfarm

i am amazed at the amount of uninformed banter i see about this once intentional community...i lived there, raised my children there, watched as the others whose posts you read and want to believe, came and left, usung, abusing, not partaking in any action to improve the land or lives there...yes yonder has a good side, but the truth is this,he has become selfish and greedy, and lies ever so eloquently to justify his actions...i was promised a life,we paid in,got thrown out...details unnecessary at this point...stone is not a liar.he states facts,he was a valuable,educated,hard-working community member, his heart in the right place...i believe, however, the farm was damned, simply because there was never truly a desire for community...once i thought that it was real, but i left because there was so much dishonesty and no coopoeration, too many self-serving folks for a real commune...i hoped that my absence would be the answer t my husband keeping the home we built, the land we cleared, and the village i helped create from the rubble and thorns, but he blindly followed the yonder, and now we have nothing...anyone of any value or worth was thrown out, while drug users, alcoholics, and bums were allowed to stay, raping the land, robbing those of us living and trying to create a life there...yonder was wooed by their false adoration, taken advantage of time and again, and led to believe that good people were bad...i do not hate yonder, david breedlove,i love him as i met him and used to know him...i gave him everything i could offer, even a van to insure he could get around when i wasn't there,i treated him like a father, watched as he lost his life to alcohol, and takers...i wished for change and got it,not real sure what to expect from folks or prayer anymore...

Chill out people and do what you love. Grow food, get outside get off the computer, I am speaking to myself also. Anyone want to come join my bicycle tribe of organic helpers?

Some of us were busting butt growing food, & flowers, luvin the land with all of our hearts, only to be thrown out with nothing... After paying money for the privilege of investing all of our resources for a number of years, building homes, livelihoods, community... believing that we were buying into the community. After being thrown out of the homes we built with our own money, materials, tools, skills, & labour, we've found a terribly hostile reception everywhere we've gone to ask for help dealing with this Gawd awful situation.... What's needed here is people who value their own labours enough to realize what this situation is costing us, and the entire movement. Lilith responded on this woof forum to a post made bragging on the Yonderfamily community, talking about what a wonderful place [the yonder farm] was, criticizing me for complaining about being thrown out! Does anyone here think they would be able to walk away from the investment of years of everything they'd achieved when a scoundrel decided to take it from them... without recognizing the need to warn their brothers and sisters to help them avoid experiencing a similar loss? If anybody here feels like it isn't necessary to warn our brothers and sisters to avoid being sucked dry... Please speak up so that everyone can avoid plugging in at your farms/communities.

so those of you who know nothing of my situation and have questions could ask,but instead you choose to be ugly, wow!intelligent people everywhere...are your 'farms' kind?i certainly do not feel it...i looked at your sites, seems alot of frillyness,i pray you do well in your ventures and that in the future you will remember not to talk about things or people that you do not know or understand...once again, uninformed banter, seems you took the time to post just to 'hear' yourselves...

i assure you that i would not have established an account on some random site to discuss something that noone accessing this site has ever said anything about...perhaps you did not have call to look for this topic before, actually, what drew you to read my post?i cannot send you back to the posts that inspired me as i am not one to save alot of unneccessary painful data, and i apologize, but if they had been somewhere else i would have set up an account elsewhere...now as a result i have found some intellegient banter as well,i like your site, and will research it as i have more time, sincerely, lillith
