Wild Earth Farm is a 45-acre non-certified organic farm and homestead growing a variety of heirloom fruits, flowers, and herbs. We are actively exploring the "farming with the wild" concept--creating and protecting biodiversity--while providing for our community. Therefore, we are only farming a small amount of our total acreage. Bigger is not better for us! All our flowers, herbs, and fruits are sold to the local community from our farm stand and local farmer’s market. This year we will be offering a large selection of cut flowers.

Please note that this is not the place to come if you are looking to gain experience in running a 100-member CSA or even large production of veggies. Wild Earth is really a homestead experiment in simple living, self-sufficiency, and resource protection.

This is however, a great place to live outside, work in the dirt, and chill. We have a great swimming pond, lovely woods with a brook, and thousands of acres for hiking on state land just a few steps away.

We can accommodate no more than two visitors at a time. You'll need a tent and rain gear. The best thing is to call and discuss your specific situation ie: what you are looking to learn, experience etc. and we'll see if it matches with what the farm needs at that time.

In exchange for your campsite and food, we ask for your help a few hours a day. This summer, help with our new cut flower experiment would be grand! If you like flowers, can make a nice looking arrangement, and enjoy farmer's markets, this could be for you!

Also, looking for a farm-sitter this winter. Stay in my "trouse" (half trailer/half house) feed the critters and keep the pipes from freezing. Stay on and help with sugaring, wood cutting and spring planting if you like. Again, please call to discuss.

Peace,
