Lois & Tom grow on 5 acres of MOFGA certified gardens here in central Maine, where we started in 1995. Heirloom tomatoes, lettuces, carrots, garlic, onions, potatoes, cukes and squash are our major crops, but we also bring grapes, blackberries, raspberries, pears, burdock root, celeriac, sunchokes and lots of other veggies to the seven farmers' markets a week we attend.

We start harvesting from our greenhouses in April. By May we are attending 4 farmers' markets a week, and by July six, which continue until November. We grow a wide range of veggies and herbs in the gardens and greenhouses. By June we are completely out straight until early October.

We know what we are doing, we do it well (most of the time!) and would like to share this with others who are looking to get into the same type of life. We love to teach those who love to learn, and in the process we ourselves expect to learn. Live-in and hourly work opportunities available.
