Broad River Pastures is an 11 acre bucolic farmstead in NE Georgia near the SC border. We raise heritage wool sheep, heritage meat rabbits, heritage poultry, and heritage farm collies. We also have a small orchard and market garden. We are seeking a high energy, positive person to assist with daily chores and on-going construction and projects in exchange for housing and education about sustainable farming practices and animal husbandry. We have an extensive library of farming topics, work in local markets, and make frequent visits to nearby farms and farm events.
