Sharq Organic was initially established in 1992 by Adel al-Nusif believing that providing his family with the healthiest food and produce is his first priority. He began by raising baby chicks organically in an old family house in Sharq, giving Sharq Organic its name.
Fortunately, a group of six friends including two of Adel’s sons choose to make a business out of it. Sharq Organic is starting by raising cows now . Using a sustainable farming system that is free from artificial chemicals, we produce high quality food that also protects the environment. Because organic produce is allowed to develop more slowly, it generally contains less water and more solid matter, which means more nutrients and more flavor. If we want to eat well, feel good and live better, we need to put home cooked food made with the best ingredients back on the menu.
