Nash’s Organic Produce has been growing fantastic organic vegetables and feeding the Olympic Peninsula and the Puget Sound for over thirty years. Our team produces over 100 varieties of veggies, fruits, grains, flour, vegetable seed crops, cover crop seeds and pastured pork, year round in the Dungeness Valley’s unique micro-climate. Nash’s Best! Carrots are especially famous throughout the Puget Sound, known for their amazingly sweet crunch.
Nash’s Organic Produce is an exemplary steward of the land by protecting open spaces, providing wildlife habitat and preserving farmland. In 2008, Nash Huber received the American Farmland Trust’s Steward of the Land Award. He was the first organic farmer, the first vegetable farmer and the first producer in Washington State to receive this national honor.
That farm is also committed to training future farmers, educating the public about the importance of sustainable food systems, organizing farm to cafeteria programs, participating in gleaning programs and working with organizations such as the Tilth Producers of Washington, the Cascade harvest Coalition and Friends of the Fields. Nash also works closely with the North Olympic Land Trust and the PCC Farmland Trust.
