Lost Valley is an educational center and aspiring ecovillage located on 87 rural acres in the foothills of Oregon's Cascade Mountains. We combine the exploration of sustainability and ecological consciousness with an emphasis on permaculture, interpersonal communication, and community. Our signature programs include Ecovillage Design Certification, Permaculture Design Certification, and Natural Building as well as various other educational workshops, events, and conferences.

We are also delighted to offer our "Work to Learn" program.  Blending the work study and internship formats, students sign an employee contract and learn on the job in areas such as gardening, marketing, kitchen, maintenance, and education.  After working and experiencing the community lifestyle here for 4.5 months, students have earned one of our 5 week courses.  Students can sign up for one or two of these 6 month cycles.

For people curious about us, we have several visitor days and overnights every month.  Visitors that cannot make these dates work can also sign up for self guided experiences both for the day and by renting tent sites or rooms.  Please find out more about all these options at www.lostvalley.org
