Cranberry Creek Farm is an all natural diversified homestead in the Pocono Mountains of northeast Pennsylvania. We grow heirloom vegetables on 4 acres of gardens, raise happy hogs in the forest, rotate our laying hens and meat birds on pasture, and take our goats for walks in our 100 acres of woods. We strive to be self sufficient and produce much of our own food. We are also starting a new goat dairy business in our newly built milking parlor and cheese making facility. We will be making and selling fresh and aged goat cheeses which will be aged in our underground cheese cave. We attend 2 nearby farmers markets and have a CSA at the farm.
We are looking for hard working individuals or couples interested in the art of cheesemaking, vegetable production, rotational grazing, animal power, forestry, and wildcrafting to help us for 40 hours per week in exchange for room and board, all you can eat vegetables, eggs, and meat, and possibly a small stipend.
I would love to come and help out this summer! I am a student so very interested in all the aspects of farming and sustainability you mentioned! Please contact me if you are still in need of a hard working intern for the summer at himynameismary@gmail.com or (607)3427180 ..Thanks and have a great spring!
