Whipple Farms grows heirloom veggies biodynamically and in ways designed to increase their nutrient density. We are committed to pushing the envelope of how good a veggie can taste. We also have an egg-laying flock which should be feeding only on heirloom grains we grow by the end of this summer. The farm is 160 acres, half of which are arable. We currently have 5 acres in vegetable production and 10 in grain production. We are preparing another 20 acres for grain production this summer and fall, and will add another 3 acres to our vegetable production acreage. We have one remaining intern position open for 2012 starting now and going through at least the end of August. It includes rustic rooming, an $800 a month stipend, second veggies for eating, and lunch on workdays. People who are willing to work hard, maintain a good attitude, learn well and fast and pay attention to detail may apply by sending a resume and cover letter/email to email@example.com.
