We are a farm on 350 acres in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of upstate New York between Canandaigua and Keuka lakes. Our farm is the home of an intentional community with an established tradition of organic agriculture, handcraft work, and personal development. Organic practices have been used in fruit and vegetable production for the 40 years the Guild has been at its current rural location. A five-year-old market garden with greenhouse sells to the community through farmers markets and our CSA (www.easthillcsa.org). Projects include organic farming, orcharding, vineyard work, food preservation (mainly canning and freezing), sustainable forestry and firewood production, general building and grounds maintenance, building projects as well as a chance to explore some of the folk arts that are practiced here - ceramics and woodworking especially (though there is weaving, sewing, boatbuilding, and blacksmithing as well).

During a stay here, you'll experience our spring fed pond and cedar sauna, delicious communal home-cooked and -grown organic meals, weekly yoga classes, playing music and games together. We welcome visitors who are willing to work hard and value the joys of a simple rural life - eating fresh, delicious food, swimming in the pond, and working hard together towards something greater than ourselves.

We are looking for hardworking, fun individuals to join our farm crew for full season internships from May through October 2012 and shorter internships from June through August 2012.
