We're seeking 2 full season apprentices for the 2011 season.  Apprenticeships are 8 or 9 months beginning in March and ending in November.

Serenbe Farms is a 5-acre certified organic farm located in Chattahoochee Hills, GA, just 30 miles south of Atlanta, GA. We grow over 50,000 lbs of vegetables a year in an intensive and diverse cropping system. We have laying hens, shiitake mushrooms, honeybees, and fruit trees. Serenbe Farms is part of a 1000 acre conservation community.

We market our goods through a 120-member CSA program, Serenbe and Atlanta restaurants, and our own Serenbe Farmers Market.

These apprenticeship positions are geared towards individuals that wish to manage a farm in the future.  Our educational programming includes lots of hands on learning paired with a few classroom lessons and access to our farm library. 

Apprentices receive an $800/month stipend along with nice housing close to the farm and farm produce and eggs.

- A serious interest in farming as a lifestyle and livelihood

- A physical ability to carry out all farm related tasks
