We grow tropical flowers (gingers & heliconias)& fruits (banana, avocados, citrus, papayas, etc.) and them at a fruit stand which is located on the road to beautiful Hana on the island of Maui. We are 5 min. from Haiku, 10 min. to Paia and 20 min. from downtown Kahului.
Hello I'm currently living a temporary work trade on a small fruit farm in haiku. I make money as a"street poet" in Paia, where I sit behind a typewriter and compose poems on request. Here is a list of some experience I've had: I'm a graduate of the Naropa Institute in Boulder CO, where a received BA in Monologue performance (one man shows) Gardened two seasons full time with great success Worked three seasons as a double decker tour guide in San Francisco. The most fun I've ever had, and made good money Studied yoga with Richard Freeman for twenty years Taught yoga for six years with a good following. I would love to live and work with people on land. Next to writing and performing, it's all I want to do. I'm hard working and easy going. I have a toyota mini van for sleeping if neccessary.
