Hello!   My name is Kristina and I am a 23-year-old community driven student seeking a sustainable farm to learn from and contribute to.  I want the opportunity to advance in the skills needed to build security and sustainability for a localized economy; a very important goal that is absolutely necessary. In return, I feel that I can positively contribute back to your community with my prior knowledge and hands on experience with ecological farming, permaculture and biodynamic agriculture. Most importantly, my work ethic will be reflected in my enthusiasm to learn everything I can by working hard and being open and flexible. Thank you for your time and I hope your spring is off to a great start!

Hi Kristina.  It sounds like you would be a good fit for our farm in Central Maine!  We have a diversified certified organic farm that is also very active in our community.  We would love to talk more with you.  You can check out our website at www.grasslandorganicfarm.com. Thanks, Sarah and Family

Hi Dristina. Coweeta Heritage Center is dedicated to teaching back-to-basic skills so folks can be more self-reliant. We are both a school and a working homestead/farm. As one volunteer wrote: my stay changed my life. We are off the grid producing our own power, raise a few animals for meat, eggs, and milk, mill lumber from our trees to build with. Lots of opportunity to gains skills and knowledge and put those together to gain hands on experience. Please ck our host site here. You can email us for more info about our programs.
