The Evergreen State College (TESC) has a plethera of ecological organizations and projects. TESC is plays a central role in the sustainability movement in the Northwest USA. Some of the different projects include:

The Center for Ecological Living and Learning (CELL). The CELL provides students and the broader community with experiential opportunities, linking theory to practice through the development of evolving models of sustainable agriculture practices, ecological design, and holistic living in the Pacific Northwest Bioregion. http://www.evergreen.edu/cell/

Synergy, The Sustainable Living Conference. An exciting conference that integrates themes that are often compartmentalized like culture, ecology, design, agriculture and social justice. In 2004 the conference drew at least 2000 people. http://academic.evergreen.edu/groups/seed/

DEAP, Developing Ecological Agriculture Practices. A student group that focuses on eco ag and permaculture. Student groups are funded by student fees.

SEED, Students at Evergren for Ecological Design. Another student group.
