East Fork Farm in Madison County, NC has one more opening for the 2013 farming season.   We raise grassfed lamb, pastured poultry (chicken, ducks, turkey, geese, and guinea), rabbit and free-range hens for chickens.  Our products our sold at four tailgate markets in Asheville.   

INTERNS:  We are looking for highly motivated, hard working, energetic, and positive people who are interested in learning the skills of animal husbandry, pasture management, processing of poultry and rabbit, charcuterie, marketing and merchandising, agritourism and basic farm maintenance.   Housing and small stipend available.
