We’re a new 9 acre organic farm aiming for sustainability using the principles of permaculture, located in Kurtistown on the east side of the Big Island. We want to provide a real and useful learning experience for others while being open to their ideas. So far, we have dozens of young trees, multiple vegetable beds, some livestock, and poultry. Chores would include caring for the animals, readying sites for planting and tending what is planted. Come join our family and help us grow. We offer camping with facilities, some food provided (fruit, eggs, beans, grains) many opportunities for foraging, some sit-down meals and fun outings. This is an exciting opportunity to really learn about starting an organic farm.

If you're still in need of a volunteer email me at alamaan000@yahoo.com so we can get in touch.  Im interested in learning about permaculture and all of the work/skills that come along with it.
