Painted Sage Farm is located near the mighty Green River at foot of the majestic Wind River Mountains. At 7200 ft, there are 28 frost free days.  The farm grows in a 1440 sq. ft. greenhouse and hoophouses.  Hens are on pasture in the mobile chicken wagon.  The farm raises Mulefoot Hogs and heritage turkeys also.  In 2010, the farm hopes to offer short-stay and summer-stay volunteer opportunities from May through October.  Interns will stay in tipis and wall tents.

Interns will be expected to work 5 hours per day in exchange for lodging and one meal per day.  Contact the farm for more information.
