Spring is coming early to the Northwest and that means for those looking to experience a full growing season it's time to find a farm apprenticeship.  In many ways, Persephone Farm is a model GrowFood program. They've had a lot of practice; Rebecca has been running the apprenticeship program for more than ten years.  The work is well structured with lots of practical time in the dirt. But you can also partake in readings and more academic study, as well as get guidance on marketing and the business of running a small farm. Dana, a past apprentice, recently wrote in a review, "My husband and I began the growing season as complete novices and we learned more than we could have possibly imagined."
